The Handsfree Console connects to the car kit control unit located underneath the dashboard.
With its quality built-in GPS receiver CK3300 adds navigation functions to the benefits of the CK3100 kit.
It enables the driver to access wirelessely NMEA-0183 standard GPS data via Bluetooth. Those Data can be used with all Smartphone or PDA. Most navigation software providers such as TomTom WayFinder or Navigon to name a few sell solutions integrating high definition screen and advanced functionalities.
Thus using the Parrot CK3300 drivers no longer need to connect their personal device to an external receiver or invest into expensive useless on-board equipment. Only a dashboard mounting for the PDA or Smartphone is required as additional device.
Additional GPS monitoring messages such as number of satellites active or detected geographical coordinates speed and heading can be displayed on the screen.
